Discerning the False Teachers: Beth Moore PART 1

Michelle and Amy continue a series of podcast episodes discussing false teachers in the modern church, particularly some of the more popular women’s teachers, speakers and authors. In the first of two episodes we examine the teachings and the behavior of Beth Moore. She is easily the world’s best known women’s Bible study author and teacher in the world, and has been teaching since 1985 and draws in millions of followers. Many of you have been or are in churches where her teachings are a huge part of your women’s ministry. We’ll look at her own words, compare them with Scripture and help you discern.

I have enjoyed your messages and the truth about Beth Moore. One item Im finding hard to hear or maybe it triggers me but the music used on your podcast remind me of stripper music. Im not saying this to be mean or disrespectful but it does remind me so much that I have to quickly forward through the introduction music. Keep up telling the truth of the Gospel and standing firm.

Personally I know Beth from Houstons First Baptist. Went to her Sunday School classes for years. I know without a doubt she is born-again. I know she use to teach a stronger teaching of scripture. I don’t know why she has gone down this road. I think it has something to do with not really being “set free” from her being sexually abused as a child and Trump and men like this has fueled her to side with these demons and not the pure word of God. I do agree with a woman should not preach to men or be a Pastor, yes! She is a major embellisher! And to a fault!! God does give direction today! He does impress things but according to his word. I don’t understand your argument here about that. And God, has spoken to me but it was according to His word. He said this in my heart at 16 when I was in tears weeping and tell him about my concerns and not even knowing Him. he said in my heart, “I am not a big judge in the sky, but I am hour friend.” That is the word of God!
