It’s another episode of The Pew! Not The View, The Pew! All of the joy, none of the Behar. It’s our view from the church pew on some important issues in evangelicalism. There’s a lot happening out there in the visible church, and we’ve got some interesting stories coming your way today! That’s why we do The Pew, so we can grab some of those headlines we’re seeing – oftentimes UNbiblical headlines – and talk about them biblically.

Hi Debra- See the links above under “Resources”.
Hello,
I greatly appreciate your combined wisdom and although I have been a Bible believer and studied for many years, you have helped me clarify the issues I have had with certain popular women’s Bible study teachers.
I do want to “push back” on your comments about you version Bible app. I have used it for years just for the Bible translations featured there. I do not read any other material on that website. I have not paid them one dime. Recently they have offered the audio version of NKJV narrated by a very pleasant female voice. Her voice is so soothing and not harsh as I have found other narrators to be.
Anyway that’s my 2 cents worth. Again I appreciate the void you have filled in helping with discernment in these last evil days. Keep up the good work!
Many blessings to you and yours during this blessed time of celebrating the birth of our Lord, Emmanuel, God with us!! Alleluia!!
Kathy
Hi Kathy- Thanks so much for your comment and kind words. If you’ll go back and listen carefully, you’ll notice we did not say that users have to pay for the app, we said that false teacher, Craig Groeschel and his “church” make money from it, and you, as a user, enable that. It’s similar to the way broadcast TV (CBS, NBC, ABC) makes money even though it’s free for you to watch. They make money from selling ads and airtime, but how much money they make depends on how many people are watching. That’s how you, as a user of YouVersion, are contributing money to a false teacher and his “church”.
