Tonight begins a three part series on a topic that, unfortunately, isn’t talked about very much in the church: aging. What it’s like to grow older as a godly woman. Tonight, in part 1, we’re going to take a look at what Scripture says about aging. What does Scripture tell us to think about aging and to do as we age? Grab your Bible and let’s study these passages together.

After hearing so many discouraging things about aging and menopause both online and a particularly discouraging conversation in real life I began to despair a bit, especially since I’m already feeling so worn down by repeated childbearing. I prayed to God for some encouragement and good wisdom on these topics that is not the secular “begin your witch phase” or the “it’s all over just wait it’s going to get even horribler” that sadly I see in real life and in church and I found this podcast via twitter. This is just what I was looking for. I’m inspired to reach out to a few older ladies at church who embody these “Godly aged women” characteristics for some hope too. Really thank you this was an answer to prayer.
Thank you for taking the time to offer this encouragement, Celeste. I’m so glad these episodes were helpful to you. It is our pleasure to serve you in Christ.
