Amy and Michelle, I love listening to you two beautiful ladies and have learned so much from your discernment, thank you. I do have a question that perhaps could be answered in one of your sessions together or privately,, either way would be great. The pastor at my church gives the sermon only about once a month or possibly twice every 6 weeks or so, and allows other men in the church to give the sermon instead. Sometimes, he is at another church filling in where there is no pastor and sometimes he’s sitting in the congregation listening to them. These men are not trained in any biblical sense. My husband and I are beginning to question if we need to start looking for another church. Please help me understand if my concern is or isn’t warranted. Thank you kindly.
Karen
Hi Karen,
Your question is timely, and we would love to expand on this in our upcoming Glad You Asked, Summer 2022 – Part 2 episode next week. Question for you: Is your pastor involved in training them? Have they been teaching anything unbiblical? Thank you!
